To achieve successful DTF film transfers, it's crucial to follow the proper pressing instructions. This involves using a heat press set to 320°F (160°C) for cotton fabrics or 260°F (121°C) for polyester fabrics, and pressing once for 8 seconds before waiting 1 minute to cool and cold peeling the DTF film. For a smoother feel on fabrics, re-press for an additional 3 seconds with a Teflon sheet. Sublimation printing requires heating at 390-400°F for 50-60 seconds, and it's important to calibrate your heat press and ensure that the temperature on the digital display matches the heating element using a temp gun.
